Imperial county farm bureau

Each year, the Imperial County Farm Bureau presents local students with scholarships to aid them in their studies.

Agricultural Benefits Program

The Agricultural Benefit Program was established to mitigate losses to Ag production, Ag jobs, and our local economy resulting from renewable energy development on farmland in Imperial County. One of the areas supported for funding by the Board of Supervisors is education, specifically scholarships for Imperial County students majoring in agriculture or a closely related field.

IV Community Foundation

The Imperial Valley Community Foundation has a growing portfolio of scholarship opportunities for students from Imperial Valley.

All scholarship applications need to be submitted using IVCF's online scholarship application system.

Please note that there is an eligibility quiz in the online portal to help students identify scholarships that they are eligible for.

IVROP

The IVROPCF will award scholarships to qualified students who enroll and have been accepted to an accredited career technical school, community college or university in the United States. Awards range from $1,000, $750 and $500. All awards will be disbursed as indicated on the timeline. Scholarships may be used for payments of tuition, academic fees, room, board, online educational expenses, and the purchase of required additional materials, books or

equipment.

Heritage Foundation

CMWF Heritage Foundation is offering scholarships to residents of Imperial County who have chosen a field of study in continuing their education in an agricultural area or related field of study. This could be technology school, trade school, community college or university.

Deadline: Tuesday, April 1, 2026 at 5pm

COLAB

COLAB believes the future of our county is dependent upon young leadership. We are proud to announce the inception of our scholarship program, WHICH will be to local students who have chosen to pursue an education related to Labor, agriculture, or business.
